Facebook PetVille Getting Started Guide: How to Make Cash Fast
Posted on 05. Dec, 2009 by xDragonZ.
PetVille might let you take care of an adorable animal, but — like most social games — the game’s all about collection coins that can be used to improve your animal’s overall welfare (not to mention its house and clothing options). The new game from Zynga launched on Facebook on December [...]

Facebook PetVille: The Cutest Virtual Pet Game on Facebook
Posted on 05. Dec, 2009 by xDragonZ.
The minds behind our favorite Facebook time sinks, FarmVille and FishVille, have ventured into new territory this week, releasing a new pet simulation game, PetVille. We were immediately impressed by how polished this game looks right at launch; something that PetVille General Manager Steven Lurie points out when talking about his brand new game.
“The enhanced art style and beautiful graphics are another example of how Zynga is continuing to bring innovation to games on social networks,” Lurie says. “PetVille embodies some of the best features from other successful Zynga games, and puts them into a dynamic and fun pet environment. Create a pet avatar, care for it, visit friends and earn coins so you can decorate. Let’s see what you can create in your house!”
PetVille works like most other pet simulators on Facebook, rival game Pet Society as a prime example. As Lurie mentions above, start the game by custom creating a pet, then customizing its pad. Once that’s done, it’s time to get to work earning virtual coins to buy new items and level up your character. Collecting coins requires visiting your pet’s pad regularly to make sure the food bowl is full and any withered flowers have been replaced. You’re also encouraged to visit all of your PetVile friends — each visit uses up a bit of energy that is replenished daily — where you can rake in coins by interacting with other pets and then helping them clean up their houses. As you do more, you’re character will also level up, giving it access to new items in the stores, more types of food and more rooms in their houses.

Facebook PetVille Getting Started Guide: How to Feed Your Pet
Posted on 05. Dec, 2009 by xDragonZ.
That’s right, there’s another game on Facebook begging for your attention — PetVille. The brand new game from Zynga — best known for their runaway hit FarmVille — puts a virtual pet in your charge. Your goal is to keep your pet fed and earn coins, which can be used to buy new items for both your pet and his/her house.
Getting started in PetVille is a relatively simple process, provided you already have a Facebook account. After logging into Facebook, visit this URL to get to the game. After customizing your pet, you’ll need to learn how to feed your pet.
1. Start by clicking on your pet’s food bowl, which is located in your pet’s house.
2. Select which type of food you’d like to feed your pet. Keep in mind that different types of food will keep your pet fed for different amounts of time. Also note that you can change the look of your pet’s food bowl in this menu as well.
3. Once you feed your pet, you will get a Kibble Bonus (of a certain number of coins, depending on which food you bought) which can be used to purchase more food, items for your pet and its house.
4. Important: if your pet runs out of food, and you aren’t around to refill the bowl, then your pet might run away. Don’t worry — you’re pet’s not gone for good, you’ll just have a pay a nominal fee to get it back in action.
5. When you start the game, you’ll have access to a few different flavors of food, such as grape, peppermint, raspberry and banana — which will keep your pet fed for 2 minutes to four hours. As the game progresses and your pet levels up, you’ll be unlock more foods that can sustain your pet for several hours or days at a time.
Check out the entire list of foods and how much they cost and how long they’ll last after the jump. (This will be a running list for now, if you have any additional information, please let us know in the comments below). The current flavors of food includes the following:

Facebook FishVille : Fish Feeding Strategy Guide
Posted on 02. Dec, 2009 by xDragonZ.
contributed by Truffled
Okay! So you want to know how Feeding works! Once you understand the mechanics you can know what all the symbols mean and how long you have until you have to feed your fish. I know my Guide is a bit wordy because I’ve tried to lay it out in general terms that can be applied to all fish no matter what type they are.
Terms I Use:
Fish – Your Fish.
Hunger Timer – This is the length of time it takes your Fish to reach the Red Food Icon after just being fed. This is twice the Growth Interval after just being fed.
Growth Interval – This is the time it takes an Fish to reach the next Age.
Half a Growth Interval - Half the time it takes your Fish to reach the next Age.
Age - How many Growth Intervals your Fish has gone through.
Yellow Food Icon – Shows up when your Fish are at 75% or less of it’s Hunger Timer and will last until the Hunger Timer reaches 0.
Red Food Icon – Shows up when your Fish reaches the end of it’s Hunger Timer and lasts for Half a Growth Interval. Fish stops growing.
Flashing Red Food Icon – This appears when your Fish is 20% of a Hunger Timer away from Death. Fish stops growing.
Dead – When your Fish actually dies.
Just Bought an Egg:
1) The Hunger Timer on a newly hatched egg is Half a Growth Interval.
2) Once you feed it, the Hunger Timer will reset to TWICE it’s Growth Interval.
Rules No Matter What:
1) All fish need to be fed, no matter how old they are.
2) All fish have Growth Intervals, no matter how old they are.
3) When you feed a fish, it’s Hunger Timer gets reset to TWICE it’s Growth Interval.
Age 4 Fish:
1) Once your Fish reaches Age 4, it immediately turns into a fish with a 1 day Growth Interval.
2) Also, it’s Hunger Timer is reset to the maximum for a 1 day fish, which is 2 days.
How the Food Icons Work:
1) When you see a Yellow Food Icon it means that your fish has 75% of it’s Hunger Timer left.
2) When your fish reaches the end of it’s Hunger Timer, it will gain a Red Food Icon, but it won’t be Dead yet. IT STILL HAS HALF OF A GROWTH INTERVAL LEFT UNTIL IT WILL BE DEAD.
3) When your fish reaches 80% of a Half Growth Interval while the Food Icon is Red, it will turn into a Flashing Red Food Icon. At this point you have 20% of the time of a Half Growth Interval to feed it or, IT WILL DIE.
I know that last statement can be confusing so what does this mean for your Fish?
If a fish has just been fed, you have 2 and 1/2 Growth Intervals until your fish is Dead from hunger.
What is important to remember is that the Hunger Timer on a Fish is based on it’s Growth Interval, but feeding the fish only sets the Timer back to full and has no effect on it’s Growth. As long a a fish does not have a Red or Flashing Red Food Icon, it will continue to grow at the rate stated by it’s Growth Interval until it reaches Age 4.
Examples:
Here are some examples using a small selection of low Growth Interval Fish:
Sardine (Fast Fish)
Growth Interval: 3 mins
Half Growth Interval: 1 min 30 secs
From Birth, No Feeding, Time until Dead: 3 mins
From Full Feeding, Time until Dead: 7 mins 30 secs
Mini Dart Goby (Fast Fish)
Growth Interval: 5 mins
Half Growth Interval: 2 mins 30 secs
From Birth, No Feeding, Time until Dead: 5 mins
From Full Feeding, Time until Dead: 12 mins 30 secs
Red Spot Cardinal (Fast Fish)
Growth Interval: 15 mins
Half Growth Interval: 7 mins 30 secs
From Birth, No Feeding, Time until Dead: 15 mins
From Full Feeding, Time until Dead: 37 mins 30 secs
Inland Silverside (Fast Fish)
Growth Interval: 30 mins
Half Growth Interval: 15 mins
From Birth, No Feeding, Time until Dead: 30 mins
From Full Feeding, Time until Dead: 1 hour 15 mins
Swissguard Basslet
Growth Interval: 1 hour
Half Growth Interval: 30 mins
From Birth, No Feeding, Time until Dead: 1 hour
From Full Feeding, Time until Dead: 2 hours 30 mins
Pajama Cardinal
Growth Interval: 2 hours
Half Growth Interval: 1 hour
From Birth, No Feeding, Time until Dead: 2 hours
From Full Feeding, Time until Dead: 5 hours
I hope that wasn’t too confusing, and helped some of you guys out.
Also, if you find any new information that changes what I’ve written, let me know. Thanks.

Cafe World Spolied Food | How Long Does It Take For Food to Spoil
A popular theory is that the food spoils if it left on the stove for the same amount of time it took to cook. The main dishes you have to look out for are the ones that take little time to cook. I’m honestly not sure if this is correct and it could also change over time simply because it’s in BETA mode. If anyone wants to add their 2 cents or correct feel free to post inthe guestbook and I’ll update it here.
